Angela Stanton King - March 25 2019 Release

In an effort to “Revitalize Urban Communities” social justice activist Angela Stanton King will join diverse community leaders and Government Officials at MLK National Park Service in Atlanta, GA on March 28, 2019 to bring hope and revitalization to distressed communities across America by introducing Opportunity Zones. Opportunity Zones give MASSIVE INCENTIVES for private- sector investors.

Stanton-King is the founder of The American King Foundation and goddaughter of Civil Rights activist Evangelist Alveda King. Stanton King is partnering with Urban Revitalization Coalition to take part in the Opportunity Zones Leadership Summit.

As a formerly incarcerated, now liberated book publisher, author and reality television personality, Stanton King feels compelled to “help others find their way to financial freedom.” The Leadership Summit,explain opportunity zones, tax regulations, investment opportunities, and the importance of utilizing capital gains. While also providing the urban community and local urban community leaders with information and access to entrepreneurship opportunities.  An expected outcome will be to educate, motivate and activate leaders and laypeople about “A New Deal for BLACK AMERICA.

President Trump signed an Executive Order directing federal agencies to steer spending toward certain distressed communities across the country — this is part of his administration’s push to turn a tax break included in last year’s $1.5 trillion tax package into a broader effort to combat poverty and geographic inequality.
