BOCA RATON, Fla., March 29, 2016 | TruthPr.comA new weekly radio show, Health, Hope & Inspiration, is coming to the airwaves beginning in April. The 30-minute program, hosted by Rev. Percy McCray and co-hosted by veteran radio broadcaster Wayne Shepherd, is designed to encourage hearts, educate minds, strengthen bodies and build faith.

Rev. McCray has served more than 20 years in pastoral care and brings his personal insights to each show which covers a broad spectrum of topics including oncology, cancer care ministry, pain management, psychology and nutrition.

“Our hope is that this radio program serves as an encouragement to those dealing with illness, especially cancer, and their caregivers,” said McCray. “Every week we will offer some of the top voices in healthcare and testimonies from current patients who have called upon God and been inspired through their journey.”

A fully ordained minister for more than 20 years, Rev. Percy McCray is a member of the United States Chaplains Association. He has been recognized as one of the “most influential African Americans in Lake County (IL)” by the People’s Voice newspaper for his religious and leadership roles within the community. Also recognized as one of the most beloved Pastors of the Chicagoland area by the Defender newspaper.

In addition to his role as Director of Faith-Based Programs at CTCA, Rev. McCray helps lead Our Journey of Hope®, a cancer ministry training and support program.

Wayne Shepherd
Wayne Shepherd’s voice is heard widely in Christian radio and television, as well as numerous audio books and special projects. With over 40 years of broadcast experience, Wayne serves a growing number of clients as a radio host, interviewer, voice over talent and consultant. He serves on the Boards of National Religious Broadcasters, Far East Broadcasting Company and Mission Eurasia.
