Republican U.S. Senate candidate Kelli Ward today endorsed the budget proposal President Trump put forward this morning and urged Arizona’s representatives to move it through quickly. “The President’s budget begins the process of draining the swamp by eliminating dozens of unconstitutional, duplicative and unnecessary federal programs that should be run by the states, if at all,” Ward said. “I hope our five Republican House members stand united with the president in support of this plan.” Ward said she knows her own Congressman Paul Gosar will be a solid vote for the president’s spending cuts but said she had personally sent an email to both Senators John McCain and Jeff Flake asking that they put politics aside and support the president’s budget. “The President’s budget proposal eliminates wasteful spending and redirects dollars to the Constitutional functions of border security and national security,” Ward noted. “I know both Senators have had their differences with the president with Jeff Flake even admitting he voted for Evan #NeverTrump McMullin against President Trump. But I hope both will put politics aside and stand with the president as he makes the most significant reduction in federal spending in our lifetimes.” Ward is challenging Flake for renomination in 2018 and last year held John McCain to just 51 percent of the vote in his primary election. She argues that Arizona needs a conservative Senator to stand with the president and take apart the failed liberal welfare state and that Jeff Flake is just too “moderate” to do the job. If reelected, Flake will have been in Washington for nearly a quarter century. ###

General McMaster is known for winning the most difficult of battles. His warrior side will come in handy in dealing with Afghanistan and Iraq.     President Trump has chosen General H.R. McMaster as the national security adviser and there’s plenty to be happy about. Below are five points to consider with his choice. General McMaster is known for winning the most difficult of battles. As explained in this lengthy New Yorker article from 2006, he performed an amazing turnaround in the city of Tal Afar in Iraq. I remember when he arrived in 2005 and shocked observers by needing only about six months to change the situation by building strong relationships with Iraqis on the ground to kick the jihadists out and to quickly build up the local police force. His warrior side will come in handy as the top U.S. commander in Afghanistan bluntly refers to the situation as a "stalemate" requiring several thousand more troops for progress to happen.  He will never forget how Iran killed our servicemen and women in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere.  McMaster blasted the media for repeatedly referring to “alleged” Iranian support for militias and targets, saying it was “damn obvious to anybody who wants to look into it” that Iran’s proxy warfare against our troops was confirmed. He will never forget or forgive the Iranian regime for harming his brothers and sisters in the U.S. military. He criticizes the “"almost narcissistic" U.S. expectations in Iraq and Afghanistan that don’t take into account the limitations of our abilities to shape those situations. Authorities on counter-insurgency like McMaster, Mattis and Petraeus are often criticized of pursing idealistic nation-building, but McMaster’s words reflect a realism about what can and cannot be achieved. He wrote an acclaimed book about the Vietnam War, Deriliction of Duty: Johnson, McNamara, the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Lies That Led to Vietnam. The title alone shows he is cynical towards the senior political class. If you are skeptical about President Trump, you can rest assured that McMaster will not be a puppet. Jihad Watch just broke the story that McMaster said the “Islamic State is not Islamic” in a 2014 lecture. Comments like that by the Obama Administration were rightly criticized and so must his. However, we should be fair to McMaster. Did he say it because he doesn’t believe we should focus on the radical Islamic ideology or, more optimistically, he does understand the ideology and was using the line to try to undermine ISIS’ legitimacy? The record of McMaster points towards the former, as does the records of those he will be serving with. Defense Secretary General Mattis, for example, explicitly identifies political Islam as the enemy ideology that a strategy must be crafted around. ### Ryan Mauro is ClarionProject.org’s national security analyst, a fellow with Clarion Project and an adjunct professor of homeland security. Thirty years of U.S. foreign policy failures have created conditions and circumstances that must be considered when deciding whether to support President Trump’s recent executive order on immigration or to oppose it. The executive order is not about fighting ISIS or living up to our democratic ideals. It is not concerned per se with the religion of the people and nations most affected by the order, nor is it concerned with larger issues of immigration philosophy and policy. It is not, in other words, about banning Muslims from the United States, as some the administration’s most vehement critics have asserted. Rather, it is about what we have done, and failed to do, over the last three decades in the foreign policy sphere. Most of all, it’s about finally having to deal with the consequences of the fecklessness, incompetence, and outright stupidity that has so often characterized America’s handling of global affairs in general and Middle Eastern affairs in particular. All too often we have abandoned our friends in the region or have given them only tepid support in the conflict against the forces of Islamist extremism. Small wonder, then, that our friends have come to view America as an unreliable ally; and, worse, as a nation that has acted dishonorably in its dealing with them. The traditional view of America as the indispensable nation, as the greatest force for good in the world, is fading. As a result, some of our friends have lost faith in us; others are heading, either precipitously or tentatively as the case may be, down that same path. It bears mentioning that a significant number of Americans are similarly troubled by their country’s foreign policy failings. These are loyal, patriotic Americans who feel used and abused by our government. They recognize that America has sacrificed much blood and treasure in the Middle East, mostly to no avail. They see with a clarity our foreign policy establishment and governing elites seem to lack that our enemies are winning. And our bumbling, miscalculations, and shortfalls, needless to say, delight our enemies. They are only too happy to see us alienate our friends and cause our allies to question our commitment to a true partnership given our actions or lack of action depending on our needs, which are defined and redefined by each political generation. They are well able to do the math, which is really quite simple: our losses are their gains. Fortunately the situation is not irredeemable. But we will have to take firm measures to turn things around and get them moving again in the right direction. President Trump’s executive order is first step in making this happen. Other steps that must surely follow will all involve re-learning, and re-applying the lessons of what it means to be a friend to other nations nations and peoples. Among other things, that means being reliable, steadfast, strong, and honest. We must recover and restore our national honor. Our friends must know that we have their back when the going gets tough – that we have their six no matter what our enemies throw at us. Just as importantly, however, we must also choose our friends wisely. We must choose as friends nations and peoples and individuals who will promote our shared philosophies and interests and stand by us in helping us to secure our foreign policy objectives in the region. America needs friends in the Middle East, and globally as well. Friends are vital to our national security. But friendship is a two-way street. Our friends also have responsibilities to meet. They must be loyal to us. They must show us by their actions, by what they say and do, that America can count on them when the chips are down. Above all, we must all move forward together with strong unity of purpose and absolute clarity as to the nature of our mutual enemy. To that end, we must recognize the following facts: Excerpts: “Thirty years of U.S. foreign policy failures have created conditions and circumstances that must be considered when deciding whether to support President Trump’s recent executive order on immigration or to oppose it.” “Does ISIS have the means and capability to strike the United States? The temporary (i.e., 90-day) restriction on foreign travel to America will provide our domestic national security apparatus with the time and breathing space needed to answer that question and to implement any required measures aiming at preventing an attack.” “Fact 1: ISIS has infiltrated refugee camps in Germany and elsewhere. Fact 2: ISIS members have been arrested inside refugee camps. Fact 3: ISIS has used fake International Office on Migration (IOM) papers to gain entry to European nations and infiltrate the refugee camps. Fact 4: ISIS has the ability to make passports. Fact 5: ISIS is in possession of identification documents of innocent people who have fled the conflict zone in the Middle East. Fact 6: The IOM pushed many people into the refugee camps in the final days of the Obama Administration. Fact 7: Yezidis and other ethno-religious minority groups have been harassed, threatened, and harmed in refugee camps in Germany by other so-called refugees. Fact 8: People who were held by ISIS and escaped have spotted their former captors inside their refugee camps. Fact 9: ISIS wants to hit America and has stated openly and repeatedly that it will use the refugee process to do so.” Does ISIS have the means and capability to strike the United States? The temporary (i.e., 90-day) restriction on foreign travel to America will provide our domestic national security apparatus with the time and breathing space needed to answer that question and to implement any required measures aiming at preventing an attack. What this will entail is “heavy vetting” of would-be visitors to America from seven countries that have been deemed most at risk, according to carefully considered criteria, of harboring terrorists. Those countries are: Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia, Syria, Iraq and Yemen. If and when the vetting process confirms that an individual is…

Trump Optimism: American's Are 'Hopeful Again'

December 14, 2016, | TruthPR.com | - 'Hope' is one of those concepts often misunderstood. Some say it's a belief based on weakness. From a biblical perspective, hope embraces an attitude that expects a positive outcome. Most Christians don't put their faith in humans, but rather the Eternal. People will consistently let us down. However, good leaders have the ability to bring out the best in ourselves that makes life meaningful. Millions of Americans express new optimism, if not giddiness since President-Elect Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton in the race for the White House. But if you depend on the mainstream media you would never hear of this newfound optimism about America’s future. Instead, there is a gnashing of teeth, a steady stream of angry commentators and stories like universities creating “safe spaces” for students to grieve Trump’s election.  With every new Cabinet pick, media elites proclaim a false narrative that Trump and his supporters are racists and even white supremacists. Meanwhile, stocks finished a record-breaking week.  Buoyed by an anticipated Trump administration, the Dow Jones Industrial Average neared 20,000. NASDAQ and S&P 500 also hit record highs. During the Obama administration, the markets starved for growth. Like a wilted plant dying from lack of water, Trump’s focus on the economy and pro-America business policies, find the stock market soaring as the post-election rally continues. It’s understandable why the mainstream media lingers in its self-pity and anguish. They’ve been neutralized, reduced from Platinum to Coach status. Trump’s talent of communicating directly to citizens has quarantined the talking heads. Liberal journalists aren’t getting first dibs on President-Elect Trump’s activity, making it more difficult to deliver news through its progressive “filter.” Like the faulty polls, the mood of many Americans is great optimism, not despair. The soon-to-be occupant of the Oval Office has Americans Dreaming Again. “Hope” can be a serious motivator to do something great with your life.  Hope in the future that reflects the values of former generations that once made America Great. Coffee shop chatter no longer wonders if America will ever see a Republican president that more aptly aligns with their conservative values.  After eight long years, people are Laughing Again. Smiling Again. But it also seems Trump has helped conservatives Find Their Voice Again. That’s easier to do when someone like the President has your back. During his remarks at the 75th anniversary of Pearl Harbor Admiral Harry B. Harris, found his voice. The Commander of the U.S. Pacific Command received a standing ovation for calling out San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick. "You can bet that the men and women that we honor today - and those who died that fateful morning 75 years ago - never took a knee and never failed to stand when they heard our national anthem being played," Harris said. Ohio has experienced the “Trump Effect” in recent days. While Gov. John Kasich vetoed the so-called "Heartbeat Bill," on Tuesday he signed the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act (Sub. S.B. 127). It’s landmark legislation, which poses a historic challenge to Roe v. Wade.  This is the eighteenth pro-life law Kasich has signed into law since he took office in 2011. Supporters say the bill will withstand a more conservative U.S. Supreme Court under a Donald Trump presidency. Finally, America just might get away from the transgender bathroom debate and focus on creating good jobs, manufacturing American made products and growing a vibrant economy. Hollywood actor Mark Wahlberg recently said during an interview about his new film “Patriots Day” leftist celebrities like Lena Dunham, LeBron James, and George Clooney needs to zip it when it comes to politics. “Get over it,” Wahlberg said. “You need Jesus.” Frankly, many average citizens in flyover states would agree. They are tired of being told how to think by the “thought police.” With whom they can and can’t do business, and belittled by elites that think they know best. It's not all doom and gloom. As spoons clank in cups of strong, black coffee in diners across the nation - Americans indeed are “Hopeful Again,” and America can certainly use some “Big League” optimism. “Stay on good terms with each other, held together by [Agape] love.” Hebrews 13:1 (MSG) November 18, 2016 | TruthPR | --The 2016 Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays are at our doors. Yet, so many Americans are still reeling with post election shock. Several weeks ago, I realized that if God didn’t touch our hearts with healing, during the holidays many of us would have miserable times around the family and friend tables of America. So I rolled up my sleeves and got on my knees so to speak, and began to pray for America. Then I designed a holiday meme and began writing this message. Somehow, America has elected a new president, Mr. Donald Trump. He needs our prayers, not our vitriol. The fussing and fuming is hurting our fragile relationships in our homes, our churches and in the marketplace. Throughout the 2016 debates and elections, many, including “yours truly” have reminded America that with prayer, we can do as my Uncle MLK often said: “We must learn to live together as brothers [and sisters] or perish as fools.” My Uncle MLK, Daddy Rev. A. D. King and Grandfather Daddy King often taught from Acts 17:26: “Of one blood, God made the human family to live together on the earth.” So we are not separate races, from womb to tomb, we are one blood, designed by our Creator to live together on the earth. Honestly this has been a very difficult season for me; testing my faith and my love for God’s human family. From the onset of my publically acknowledged support for the 2016 candidacy of first Dr. Ben Carson and then Mr. Donald Trump, I have received so much angst that if it hadn’t been for God’s mercy and forgiveness in my heart, for myself and for my loved ones – friends, family, church members and others – I would have fallen into sin by either striking back at those who don’t agree with me or at least trying to defend my position. Never mind that during the elections I wrote many blogs and participated in many interviews explaining that in accord with Proverbs 3: 5 and 1 Timothy 2:2 we Americans must trust God and not the human candidates to rescue America from this present state of disharmony. People still continued to flay each other with words, and in some cases as with the violent protesters, with physical acts of anger. Yet God continues to shine through our 2 Chronicles 7:14 prayers, and we must continue to pray and trust that even in the midst of the Book of Revelation Days, God has not abandoned us. In closing; during this 2016 winter holiday season, let those of us who will, agree that for Thanksgiving, we will carve the turkey and not each other with our words. Then in repentance and Agape Love, for Christmas, let us celebrate the birth and Gospel of Jesus Christ, The Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. Let Agape Love prevail. ### Request Alveda King for an Interview

Another Challenge - This Time Trump Health Care

To request an interview with Alveda King: Click here Evangelist Alveda King: ATLANTA, GA, September 15, 2016 | TruthPR.com | --There is yet again more controversy, this time about whether or not Mr. Trump should include children of homosexual parents, partners or adopters in the health care plan. Even in a case like this, Prolife would dictate that an innocent child deserves protection and health care.  While both abortion and homosexual marriage are anti-Bible, all the children are alive and in need of God's grace, in and out of the womb; as well as do those who birth or adopt them.  At the end of the day, a child is a child no matter what.  This current argument about human sexuality and healthcare for children is yet another tactic designed to cause distraction, angst and confusion.  It's like putting the children in the middle of a child custody battle. The children are innocents, not to be used as pawns. Grace is needed on behalf of the children.  “I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.” - Galatians 2:21 KJV My friend CC, a Prolife Prayer Warrior writes: "When a homosexual woman comes into our facility impregnated via in vitro or by having sexual intercourse with who she considers a sperm donor, we love her and the child in her womb by taking care of the mother and the child together.   We’ve seen lives saved and hearts change because of Jesus love. "We’re known as a Christian ministry. We’ve had to address this in our hearts before the first person crossed the threshold.  While we do not agree with homosexuality or abortion, we take to Jesus the human dignity of the mother, father and child.  God the One Who gives Life….the Creator Sustainer of all human life.  "Through us honoring and valuing each life and reflecting His Love and Truth…His Word in our hearts…hearts and lives change.  We know this to be true. Love." I agree! Human dignity and human frailty, that's what Jesus' love and blood cure. Oh God, save our sin sick souls. Friends, Stay focused. America PRAY!

ATLANTA Geo., August 9, 2016 / TruthPR.com / --This Presidential election, many are saying they will vote for the “lesser of two evils". Won't it be better to vote for "what’s good for America?”  Voting on the issues trumps evil hearts and personalities.   A colleague writes: “We hear the phrase: 'lesser of two evils' a lot...This year, we have witnessed much voting hand-wringing with many people of faith claiming that it is evil to ever vote for "the lesser of two evils", or for any evil at all. I have concluded that this lesser of two evils phrase is really a canard; a false picture of the electoral choice. Yes, we should never ever vote for evil; only for good. Hence, in a binary election, we should only vote for the good. As for both candidates' appearing to be evil, remember that all of us are a mix of good and evil." (Jeremiah 17:9 NLT) So, let's overlook personal personality preferences; vote for the candidate with the greater potential to deliver on the issues most closely aligned with our faith and what is good for America.  This choice may be uncomfortable. But remember, we're trusting God's wisdom instead of a human candidate. (Proverbs 3:5-8) For me, it's sanctity of human life, procreation, racial justice, economic growth and stability, a positive work ethic, good health, safe borders, domestic harmony, good jobs, sustainable values based education, family stability, and a God guided U. S. Supreme Court; all biblical. Even the building of the wall; it's not a first! Ezra and Nehemiah did that.  Walls aren't evil; it's the intent that's important. If the walls protect the citizens and yet have gates of legal entry to those in need, or desirous of becoming U. S. citizens, such walls aren't evil. Note that in Nehemiah's day, the people had a mind to work. Handouts and entitlements weren't on the agenda. (Nehemiah 4:6 ASV) Let's pray and act now, and return to God; if not for ourselves, then for future generations.  Finally, let's agree with Daniel in prayer: “Oh Lord our God, “lean down and listen to [us]. Open your eyes and see our despair. See how [much of America] lies in ruins. We make this plea, not because we deserve help, but because of your mercy. O Lord, hear. O Lord, forgive. O Lord, listen and act! For your own sake, do not delay, O my God, for your people and your city bear your name.” Amen. ### Contact:  Request Alveda KingLeslie Palma347-286-7277media@priestsforlife.org

“When we truly believe in the sacredness of human personality, we won’t exploit people, we won’t trample over people with the iron feet of oppression, we won’t kill anybody.” — Dr. MLK 1967 Christmas Sermon   ATLANTA, GA., July 8, 2016 / TruthPR.com / -- Just in from Evangelist Alveda King, Director of Civil Rights for The Unborn, Priests for Life.   "As my friends Ryan Bomberger of the Radiance Foundation and Bishop Jim Lowe of Guiding Light Church and others weigh in on the unfolding issues and death counts in Louisana, Minnesota and now Dallas, I'm encouraging everyone to step back from violence, reach out to Heaven in prayer, and act to break every chain."    From Ryan:   "Here is my response to the destructive activism (and sheer hypocrisy) of the pro-abortion #BlackLivesMatter movement, especially in light of the massacre in Dallas.     "And, Alveda, here's a new video highlighting that #BlackLivesMatter hypocrisy in one sentence:" "My heart grieves for this needless, evil violence that takes precious innocent human lives (gun violence, police brutality, abortion brutality) from this earth." - Ryan Bomberger, Chief Creative Officer -  The Radiance Foundation1-877-517-4463 (o)757-535-7926 (c)www.radiance.life    From Bishop Lowe: "Sad what has happened in Dallas. Christian Action League Hosts Rally April 11 in Raleigh, North Carolina

Today is the 48th anniversary of the assassination of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The civil rights leader was in Memphis to support a sanitation workers’ strike when he was shot in the neck by a sniper as he stood on the second floor balcony of the Lorraine Motel. He was 39 years old. Evangelist Alveda King is Martin Luther King’s niece and has devoted her life to an often overlooked aspect of the civil rights movement. As director of Civil Rights for the Unborn, the African-American outreach of Priests for Life, she advocates for the lives of the most defenseless victims, children in the womb. “Today I feel very close to my uncle’s dream and vision for the 21st century,” she said. “However, in order to give genuine honor to the dream we must recognize an underrepresented group: The unborn. A woman has a right to choose what she does with her body. The baby is not her body. Where is the lawyer for the baby? How can the dream of Martin Luther King survive if we murder our children and desecrate the wombs of their mothers?” Father Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, said that just as Martin Luther King gave his life for the civil rights movement, pro-lifers have to be willing to do the same for the one million babies lost every year to abortion in the U.S. “As I wrote in my book Abolishing Abortion, we have to be ready to lay down our lives to end the violent segregation and prejudice of abortion,” Father Pavone said. “Martin Luther King and his brother, Rev. AD King, stopped at nothing to build the Beloved Community, and so must we. Let’s do what needs to be done.” Contact Information: Leslie Palma 347-286-7277

Manassas, Vir., March 16, 2016 | TruthPR.com | -– National Religious Broadcasters support Congressional leaders in their resolve to allow the American people to have a voice at the ballot box before anyone is considered to fill the vacancy on the U.S. Supreme Court following last month’s passing of Justice Antonin Scalia, leaders said today in response to President Barack Obama’s nomination of Judge Merrick Garland.  “Let us remember that Justice Scalia was an exceptional jurist with unwavering commitment to the integrity of the United States Constitution,” stated Dr. Jerry A. Johnson, President & CEO of NRB. “We know the poor track record of the Obama Administration on respect for freedom and the rule of law.  The American people should at least have a chance to vote in November before this President gets to place a third and likely generational-altering pick on the Court.” Last month in a letter to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Dr. Johnson assured him the NRB would stand with him in his decision to wait on consideration of any Scalia successor until after the November elections.  In that letter, Dr. Johnson declared: The Constitution that Justice Scalia fought for decades to uphold provides the President the power to nominate judges and the Senate the power of advice and consent.  This is a key principle in the separation of powers between the branches of our nation’s government.  Unfortunately, America’s current President has shown little restraint in asserting authority in areas properly belonging to other federal branches, the states, or the people themselves.  I urge you to do all that you can to prevent the President from attempting to work around the will of the Legislative Branch in this matter. Moreover, Dr. Johnson noted, “The American people began to vote for change in 2014 by giving a new party control of the chamber, and the people will have a chance to speak again in the months ahead essentially on the fate of all three branches of government.” The full text of Dr. Johnson’s letter to Leader McConnell is here.  Also, a letter signed by Dr. Johnson and more than 100 other leaders committed “to make clear to the American people what is at stake and to rally our fellow citizens to the cause of saving the Constitution” is here. Alveda King: I Am Not a Racist Idiot.

THIS IS NOT A POLITICAL ENDORSEMENT! “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” – Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV Atlanta GA, March 14, 2016 | TruthPR.com | -- I have just been called an idiot for viewing and possibly agreeing with this video below. Told I am naive because Trump is a racist. I am not endorsing ANY candidates. Just seeking to enlighten people.    Link to video: https://youtu.be/cCHZbB-M9oE There is a lot of stirring up fear these days. Evoking George Wallace and KKK to make people fearful without noting that Governor Wallace and many KKK members repented and turned to Christ. Did they all, no? Yet many did. Also, my Uncle MLK was called a hate monger and rabble rouser. Even the most perfect lamb that ever lived and died for us and rose again LORD JESUS CHRIST was called a rabble rouser by his opposition. When the pot is stirred, tempers boil.  Here are some important observations.  It takes at least 12%-15% of the Black vote for ANY candidate to win the US presidency. President GW Bush understood this. He had many Black conservative advisors, as did President Reagan.  President GW Bush's and to some extent President Reagan's presidential appointments reflected such understanding. Most democrat candidates understand this and spend some time, money and effort on the black vote, although they tend to take the Black vote for granted, as their entitlement. On the other hand, Republicans tend to attempt to suppress the Black vote and frown at candidates who seek to bring Blacks into the party.   See this op-ed by Clarence McKee. I pray that people are paying attention.  Clinton and GOP Ignore Florida Black Press And another  Black Voices, Black Votes Matter for Life And finally, three scriptures: “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” – 2 Timothy 1:7 KJ “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.” – 1 John 4:18 KJV “For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.” – James 3:16KJV ### Contact for Interview:Dianne Rogers615-414-8807

ATLANTA, GA, February 15, 2016 | TruthPR.com | – On the occasion of the death of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, Black Prolife Leaders mourn his death and decry current anti-life decisions which seek to impose abortion death sentences on hundreds of babies and mothers in New York and other communities.  “My heart breaks that America cannot take time to mourn with the Scalia family” said Catherine Davis, President of the Restoration Project. Instead, we must turn, immediately, to the political – assessing the ramifications of the death of this great jurist. We do pray with them, however, for strength and peace as they navigate this new normal of life without their husband, dad, and grandfather. Citing statistics from Too Many Aborted the leaders considered Justice Scalia to be “a champion civil rights voice for life.” “Justice Scalia understood what happens when being human is not enough to ensure protection from racial discrimination as a human. I thank God for the Fourteenth (14th) Amendment to the United States Constitution and for the legacy of Justice Scalia,” said Walter Hoye, Founder of Issues4Life Foundation.  Evangelist Alveda King, director of African American Outreach and a party to a Priests for Life HHS Mandate case before SCOTUS said, “Justice Scalia was a prophet in many ways. The loss of his opinions regarding the sanctity of life will create a terrible void.”  Pastor Stephen Broden of Dallas based Protect Life and Marriage Texas said: “The death of Justice Scalia has once again heightened the fact that the anti-life forces are working overtime to enforce killing babies as normative in our culture. SCOTUS is now considering major abortion cases that will impact how we as a nation will view abortion for a long time. The agenda on the left is apparent when in 2015 the Empire State legislators put forth legislation to shoot poison into the heart of babies well into the third trimester if a mother feels she is not “emotionally stable” to raise the baby. America needs to take notice of the anti-life agenda and vote to ensure and secure a pro-life presence on the Supreme Court.”  At the turn of the century, The Black Prolife Movement experienced a “resurgence” combining prominent 20th century civil rights voices and newly emerging Prolife voices. Adding to the “we shall overcome abortion” and “no more womb lynching” themes of L.E.A.R.N. and Black Genocide.org, many more Black Prolife organizations have emerged. Joined by partners across the Prolife Movement, Blacks are participating in films and other documentaries such as MAAFA21, BLOOD MONEY, and popular videos by The Radiance Foundation. Many of the 21st century leaders also represent their own organizations while coalescing at National Black Prolife Coalition and are published in their benchmark book LIFE AT ALL COSTS.  Day Gardner, founder of National Black Pro-Life Union points out the perspective of the deceptive messaging of The Reproductive Justice movement, created in 1994; the Trust Black Women Partnership, created in 2010; and the Black Lives Matter movement, created in 2012; all which allegedly were created because according to them, ‘the lives of Black people were in peril.’ If they really care, they should support the Defund Planned effort, to end the destruction of the fruit and wombs of women.”  Gardner further explained: “Hiding behind the pretense that these deceptive entities were born out of a demand for the self-determination and liberation of Black people in this country, and that all these organizations were ‘born’ because of the leadership of Black women, their ‘Trust Black Women’ mantra is highly offensive; because they want to birth lies rather than babies.” King also asks: “How can the dream survive if we murder our children? Life is a civil right. If you force the mother to take harmful chemicals or to abort the baby, you violate the rights of the baby and the health of the mother.” Watch video Today, while mourning the departed SCOTUS champion, Justice Antonin Scalia, the National Black Prolife Coalition continues to “inform, educate and activate” the communities of America and the world regarding the urgency of ending the eugenics and genocide of abortion. The Department of Veterans Affairs late Friday afternoon issued a revision to their manual defining what areas can be considered for the presumption of Agent Orange exposure. This revision continues the exclusion of the crews of ships that entered the major bays and harbors of Vietnam. The provision was disseminated in response to a court order issued last April by the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. This decision entitled Gray v. McDonald, found that the old regulation to be improper and ordering the VA to re-write it. In a letter to VA Deputy Secretary Sloan Gibson, Military-Veterans Advocacy Executive Director, Commander John B. Wells, USN (Retired) described the new regulation as a “betrayal.” “It does not change their old rule,” Wells noted. “It merely restates it with language that the court found to be irrational.” The new regulation comes on the heels of two meetings between Wells and Gibson and rescission of a draft regulation containing similar wording. The Wells letter, e-mailed Sunday evening noted: “[Y]ou have ignored scientific evidence and basic common sense to reiterate a position that was untenable prior to Gray and is untenable now. As I carefully demonstrated to you during our July meeting, the proven hydrological effects of the river discharge carried the contaminated waters far out to sea. We provided you with river studies showing that the Mekong River discharge plume would travel for hundreds of kilometers in a few weeks. We also presented you with information confirming Agent Orange runoff into Da Nang Harbor. Finally we furnished you with documented and incontrivable proof that Agent Orange had infiltrated Nha Trang Harbor.” “These folks got a straight shot into their drinking water.” Wells said. “Studies conducted for the Australian Department of Veterans Affairs and confirmed by the United States’ Institute of Medicine have proven that. Yet the bureaucrats at the VA refuse to accept the fact that they were wrong.” Australia has granted the presumption of exposure to their shipboard veterans since 2003. David R. McLenachen, Acting Deputy Under Secretary for Disability Assistance, Veterans Benefits Administration, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs acknowledged the validity of the study under questioning from Senators at a Veterans Affairs Committee hearing on September 29, 2015. In his correspondence to Gibson, Wells went on to note: “I have a feeling of personal betrayal since I made the mistake of trusting you. In answer to a direct question during our September meeting, you assured me that you were “leaning closely to our views.” In reliance upon your assurances I agreed to ask the Veterans Affairs Committees in the House and Senate to allow you an opportunity to issue a reasonable and rational regulation. I also delayed several court filings. While that deception may have allowed you to continue to stall the process, I can assure you that this delay will not affect the final outcome.” Wells promised continued pressure in Congress and the courts. HR 969 which would expand the presumption of exposure to the territorial seas is pending in the House Veterans Affairs Committee with 298 co-sponsors. The Companion Senate bill, S 681, has 37 co- sponsors. Currently litigation is pending before the United States Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit and the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. The presumption of exposure was stripped from the Navy veterans in 2002 when the VA implemented a General Counsel’s opinion that the requirement for air, land or naval service in the Republic of Vietnam limited the provisions of the Agent Orange Act to the land mass and internal rivers. This finding is in spite of the United States recognition of Vietnamese sovereignty over the territorial seas in the 1954 Geneva Accords and the 1973 Paris Peace Treaty. Wells continued to express dismay and disgust at the VA action. Again addressing Gibson he noted: “Your office, and that of the Secretary carries with it a special responsibility to care for our nation’s veterans. Phony platitudes in correspondence and press releases are not enough when your actions cause them to ring hypocritical. The decision to put bureaucracy before honor and mendacity before veracity merely are illustrations of why the nation’s veterans loathe the VA. Congress and the veterans community agree that you have broken faith with the American veteran.” Wells, who served on several Navy ships and is a retired surface warfare officer. He is now an attorney practicing military and veterans law. He is recognized nationally as the subject matter expert on the Blue Water Navy matter. Alveda King: Pray for Leaders and Candidates

“Pray for everyone you know... especially for rulers and governments...so we can be quietly about our business of living...” 1 Timothy 2:1-3 MSG When asked about Governor Palin's recent endorsement, I told Neil Cavuto when he asked me about "The Trump phenomenon that: "Shake-ups aren't always bad." In the upcoming days with all of the elections before us, let's be mindful and prayerful because our nation and our world are in trouble. Let's pray for all leaders and candidates and rely on God to guide us to the voting booths and obey God's directions when we get there.  No politics as usual, no dirty tricks. It can't be about our favorites this time. It's not to be a personality contest because there's too much at stake.  At the end of the day, we'll need to vote for a winner. We need to be able to cast a vote without having participated in character assassinations in order to advance our favorites. We can't afford to hate any candidate.  We need to overcome abortion, heal and strengthen the procreative family, combat poverty and violence and racism. We need to minimize war and put America back to work. We need to be free to worship God in the public square. We need to love each other in an Agape way; and as my Uncle MLK said: "We must learn to live together as brothers [and sisters] or perish together as fools.  Pray for America.    To schedule interview contact: Leslie Palma, 347-286-7727 ### Priest for Life

NEW YORK, January 13, 2016 | TruthPR.com | -- Father Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, and Dr. Alveda King, Director of African-American Outreach, issued the following statement today to support Rep. Sean Duffy (R-Wisconsin) after he was criticized by the Congressional Black Caucus for statements he made about abortion in the African-American community. “We commend Congressman Sean Duffy for pointing out the obvious, namely, that far too many African-American leaders are ignoring the devastating impact abortion is having on black lives.  Death by forceps or bullets is death all the same. Alveda's uncle, Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr., said, ‘History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people.” Father Pavone and Dr. King commented: “The silence of the Congressional Black Caucus in defending unborn African-American lives truly is disturbing.  How many deaths will it take for its members to defend our community – the human community, born and unborn? “Congressman Duffy spoke the truth in love.  If members of the Congressional Black Caucus or any other persons are offended by the truth, they need to examine themselves, not criticize the messenger.” Dr. King has been addressing the issue of the silence of not just the Congressional Black Caucus but many prominent Black leaders over the disheartening and disproportionate rates of abortion among the Black community most notably in another open letter in July of 2015 amid the Planned Parenthood controversy over the selling of baby body parts. In related matters, Dr. King addressed the issue of gun violence and abortion in an open letter to President Obama, and Father Pavone commended Iowa Rep. Steve King for his decision to leave his seat empty for the unborn during the State of the Union address on Tuesday. ### CONTACT:Leslie Palma347-286-7277
