Peoria, AZ, February 12, 2018 | |  – Sheriff Richard Mack, candidate for US Congress in Arizona’s February 27 special election in CD-8, says if Donald Trump wants to truly “drain the swamp” he can no longer allow Chuck Schumer, Mitch McConnell, and Paul Ryan to continue playing games with America’s future by continuing Congressional runaway spending. Stated Mack, “President Trump promised America that he would no longer allow the professional politicians to rob America’s future from the bad deals they have given taxpayers. But in allowing the “three stooges” to take the lead on a budget deal they just added over 300 billion in debt to the 1 trillion in debt that we were going to face just 30 days ago.”

Sheriff Mack continued, “Chuck Schumer, Mitch McConnell, and Paul Ryan just gave taxpayers trillion dollar deficits indefinitely. The higher that deficits rise the more likely it is that interest rates will surge, too, and that undercuts corporate profits, stock prices, consumer spending and the overall economy. Whatever happened to the Republicans that were angry at Barrack Obama’s constant trillion dollar deficits? President Trump needs to cut ties with those that are complicit in spending our nation into the purgatory economic dungeon of debt.”

“What’s worse is that Schumer got to spend so much money he copied the name of the New Deal, and McConnell got tax breaks for his personal pet projects in Kentucky – while the American taxpayer got screwed,” explained Mack.

Sheriff Mack also stated, “Most of the additional spending is not offset with cuts elsewhere, which means that the $20 trillion national debt will grow significantly.

This is the largest increase in federal spending since the stimulus passed during the depths of the Great Recession. Republicans almost universally opposed that bill in 2009, which cost $787 billion over 10 years, on the grounds that it would increase the debt too much.”

“While Sheriff I fought to protect the Constitution by suing the President of the United States and winning a landmark US Supreme Court case,” Mack continued. “I will continue to fight to preserve and protect the Constitution as a member of Congress and help President Trump ‘drain the swamp’ in the GOP as well. But that means taking on Mitch McConnell, Paul Ryan, and the rest of the professional politicians in Washington DC.”

Mack gained national attention when he sued President Bill Clinton over the Brady Gun Ban winning in the US Supreme Court. Since that landmark Supreme Court ruling Mack has written six books and appeared at over 300 conservative political rallies nationwide. He has stood against the incursions of the Federal Government and has fought for civil rights from Hawaii to Bangor, Maine. He is the Founder and President of the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association (CSPOA) and is in the NRA Hall of Fame.
