Thank you for considering interviews with Lt. Gov. Jennifer Carroll in response to Pres. Trump’s comments on Tax Reform. If I can be of assistance, please contact me at Jackie@TruthPR.com or 662-259-0988.
“President Donald Trump is giving Republicans a gift of an opportunity to finally reform the 30 plus year old tax code. This is a signature staple principle of the GOP. If the Republican Senate and House blocks this agenda item, they will see a backlash at the ballot box during the mid-term election.
As it stands, the federal government receives far too much tax income where they have been excessively spending off the backs of hard working Americans. The middle class have carried the largest tax burden for far too long. The middle class have been penalized by tax burdens such as the Alternative Minimum Tax, and they have been pushed out of qualifying for many tax deductible options. Federal tax burdens have strangled many families from keeping more of what they earned. President Trump is spot on to push the tax reform issue to the forefront. Let’s see if the congress will support the President’s initiative or will they abdicate their duty to make good on years of promise to the American people.”
