Founder of NARAL Leaves a Dying Wish

New book reveals the political strategy of the Abortion Rights Leader

 Terry Beatley - Hosea Initiative

WASHINGTON, DC—February 14, 2017 | | — His body riddled with cancer, abortion pioneer, Bernard N. Nathanson, M.D., instructed a Virginia mother to teach the strategy of how he deceived America. Terry Beatley promised to deliver his personal parting message. Nathanson is the OB-GYN doctor whose activism and propaganda, in the early 1970s, secured abortion-on-demand for American women. Nathanson was the co-founder of National Association for the Repeal of Abortion Laws (today known as NARAL Pro-Choice America).

As the first step in fulfilling her promise, author Terry Beatley set out in 2011 to help defeat a long-term Virginia state senator who was aligned with the abortion industry. Crossing the racial divide and transcending political party affiliations, Terry united a diverse electorate to oust the 7-term senator whose voting record reflected his promises to the abortion industry — not the desires of the voters.

The title “What if We’ve Been Wrong?” is a direct quote from Dr. Nathanson’s never-seen-before resignation letter to NARAL. Beatley’s book provides the storyline for a feature film in the works.

“Until his life’s end, he was troubled by the ‘incalculable evil’ he unleashed and the subsequent death of millions of unborn babies. Dr. Nathanson wanted the exploitation of women and their children to end.” explains Beatley.

Each chapter contains lists of resources to encourage readers to study the issue further. A helpful appendix at the end contains documents such as: Norma McCorvey’s 2003 affidavit requesting that the Supreme Court reverse its Roe v. Wade decision; a legal summary by McCorvey’s two attorneys outlining the six erroneous assumptions made by the Supreme Court in Roe v. Wade; and a list of some of the teenage fatalities caused by the legal abortion industry.
