While Steve was experiencing the reality of Heaven, Kathy—a board-certified pediatrician with more than 30 years of experience—waged an intense battle in prayer and medical advocacy, standing on Scripture and refusing to accept the grim prognoses spoken over her husband. Drawing on her background in pediatrics, functional medicine, and lactation consulting, as well as her work in both inpatient, outpatient, and urgent care settings, she balanced medical expertise with unwavering faith in God’s healing power. Their intertwined journeys form the heart of I’ve Been to Heaven, a book and developing feature film project that testify that miracles still happen, God still answers the prayer of faith, and that Jesus is returning very soon.
