About Dr. Isik Abla

Dr. Isik Abla is a former Muslim from Turkey, now a global Christian broadcaster and founder of Isik Abla Ministries, whose testimony of escape from Islamic extremism and encounter with Jesus has made her a sought‑after voice on Islam, religious freedom, and spiritual transformation.

Işık Abla was born in Istanbul, Turkey, and raised in a devout Muslim home marked by severe verbal and physical abuse and the trauma of civil war.

Trapped in a violent marriage to a Muslim extremist involved in jihad, she fled to the United States in 1996 after he attempted to kill her, arriving suicidal and hopeless before a radical encounter with Jesus Christ changed everything.

Today, as founder and president of Isik Abla Ministries, her television and digital programs air in over 200 countries on six continents in multiple languages, reaching hundreds of millions with a message of hope, freedom, and redemption in Christ.

Their intertwined journeys—one in a hospital room, one in the courts of Heaven—reveal a single, stunning truth: miracles still happen, and God still answers the prayer of faith.

In Pay to Play, he gives a first‑hand account of the financial boom, the pressure and pay‑to‑play politics he says targeted his firm, and the years of legal battles, exile, and prison that followed—offering an insider’s look at the collision of business, power, and the American Dream.
