From Battlefield to Brotherhood: How U.S. Veterans and Israel Are Shaping Resilience Against Iran

Judy Isaacson Elias, founder and CEO of Heroes to Heroes, has guided hundreds of American combat veterans through life-changing programs in Israel—immersive experiences that rebuild confidence, purpose, and leadership after the traumas of war. These trips do more than heal wounds; they forge mission-driven leaders who return to the U.S. ready to serve in their families, communities, and workplaces.

At a moment when Iran’s aggression and regional conflict are redefining global security, Judy offers a unique, frontline perspective connecting veteran transformation to U.S.–Israel relations. On your program, she can powerfully explain how serving beside Israeli peers, visiting strategic sites, and living under real security threats gives American veterans a visceral sense of what partnership and deterrence truly mean. For them, Israel isn’t just an “ally”—it’s a kindred nation facing the same enemies that threaten American interests.

Compelling angles Judy can speak to:

  • How recent Iran–Israel escalations are reshaping life and security on the ground—and what U.S. veterans experience when they’re there.
  • Why strengthening U.S.–Israel ties is vital for deterring Iran, from shared intelligence to defense innovation.
  • Firsthand stories of leading veteran groups under pressure, building calm, decisive leaders amid real-world tension.
  • How Israel’s citizen-soldier ethos inspires American veterans to lead at home—in business, community, and service.
  • What policymakers and media often miss about how Iran’s actions directly affect veterans and active-duty forces.
  • Actionable insights for employers and local leaders on harnessing veterans’ resilience and leadership during uncertain times.

Judy’s perspective turns foreign policy headlines into personal stories of courage and continuity—showing how alliances abroad and leadership at home are deeply intertwined. Her message is timely, hopeful, and tailor-made for audiences seeking substance beyond the news cycle.

Judy Isaacson Elias

“My career was fun and lucrative, just not fulfilling. Founding and building up Heroes to Heroes required all the skills I had and more. Having the opportunity to redefine my life as a life of service at the age of 50 and continue to learn and develop has been a gift.” Founded Heroes to Heroes in March 2010 in tribute to her father, Irving M. Isaacson, a World War II veteran, as a way to honor the service of all veterans, especially those with Moral Injury and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Before joining Heroes to Heroes in a full-time capacity, Judy spent thirty years in media sales and management and on Wall Street as a Financial Advisor. Judy’s volunteer experience in the non-profit world includes the White House Task Force for Moving Veterans into Trucking, New Jersey Women’s Political Caucus ( PAC Co-chair), Teaneck Township (NJ) Financial Advisory Board, and Chairperson of the Women’s Circle at Chabad of Boynton Beach. Judy has been featured in the documentary “Pay Attention”, which focuses on entrepreneurs and how they think, and has been featured in many broadcast and print media outlets. ’82, DISTINGUISHED CITIZEN AWARD RECIPIENT 2019
