Ralph Rebandt is a 2026 Republican candidate for Governor of Michigan, running on a bold vision to build the state’s “next Golden Age” — making Michigan the #1 state in the nation economically while restoring family values, parental rights, and America’s founding principles. A pastor, entrepreneur, and former union member, Ralph brings a rare blend of blue-collar credibility and conservative leadership to the race.

Ralph served for more than 35 years as the organizing and senior pastor of Oakland Hills Community Church (Orthodox Presbyterian Church) in Farmington Hills, Michigan, where he planted daughter congregations in Royal Oak, MI and London, Ontario. He holds a Master of Divinity (magna cum laude) and Master of Arts in Religion from Westminster Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor of Religious Education from Summit University. After a lifetime in ministry, he founded Michigan Lighthouse Ministries to mobilize pastors and people of faith for civic engagement.

His leadership extends well beyond the pulpit. Ralph serves as Chaplain for the Michigan Association of Chiefs of Police, the International Association of Chiefs of Police, the Southeastern Michigan Chiefs of Police, and the Farmington Hills and Beverly Hills Police Departments. He is a member of the Council for National Policy Board of Governors in Washington, D.C., placing him among a small circle of conservative leaders shaping national strategy.
